Husk - a hand printed concertina book

Featuring a Husk of Hares running through the concertina folds of a hand bound book.

This little gem features 6 frolicking hares running through dandelion seed heads. Each page has a touch of silver coloured leaf metal. I prefer to use a silver coloured leaf rather than actual silver as it doesn't tarnish. The book is covered in a precious bark paper.  I was gifted a large piece of this fantastic material and it suits the hairy hares perfectly. A layer of gold coloured leaf metal is laminated between this and the book board to emphasise the network of fibres that make up the textures.

The book measures 10.5cm square when closed and 60cm long when open.
